It has been a long time since I blogged and I want to get back into it. So here I am!
A lot has happened with Switch Purse and me since April, 2018.
Switch Purse: In October of 2018, I was interviewed on Bmore Lifestyle, a local lifestyle television magazine. I talked about my breast cancer journey and how I give back by making pouches to hold mastectomy drains after surgery. I also mentioned how I donate a portion of proceeds to Komen MD from my Pink Ribbon Switch Purses. Also, in October, I interviewed by Honeygo Living Magazine about similar topics. They were exciting opportunities and a great way to share my story.
Me: As of 4/4/18, I was cancer free! 6/4/18 was my last chemo treatment! 10/7/18 was reconstruction. Possibly one more small surgery to go. But I feel GREAT!
I will forever spread the word of awareness and education, comfort for those touched by cancer, especially breast cancer and advocate for research. This journey has opened my eyes to the priorities in life. It has energized me to LIVE more and to also push Switch Purse in a more visible direction. I love my little Switch Purse business. My little business; my big passion. Good things are on the horizon, so stay tuned!
